California-based Electronic producer Vijay Jayant is never bound by a single genre under the Dust Breaks alias. Since formation in 2013, he has applied a signature gritty aggression and drum-forward production style to many Electronic subgenres, allowing his sound to naturally evolve from each significant LP milestone. Dust Breaks has cultivated an eclectic diversity of music, ranging from 90s-styled Big Beat and Industrial Rock on his debut 2016 LP ORGANISM, slick and modern Bass/Tech House on his sophomore 2023 LP FOSSIL, and his current exploration of Drum and Bass. 

Jayant has allowed Dust Breaks to be a vessel of expression for his love for animals and creature-related media, and using over two decades of experience in the visual arts, has been the sole vision behind the Dust Breaks brand, album artwork, merchandise, and more.
